This seminar is an interactive workshop focusing on policy and practice surrounding the institutional use of analytics and big data, with a specific focus on the emerging field of learning analytics. The presenters will discuss different approaches to data science and share real-world institutional stories, including experiences from outside North America. This will serve as a framework for a collaborative discussion of topics such as institutional readiness, clarity of purpose, governance, and developing consensus and buy-in.
