While Jasig encourages the uPortal community to contribute bug fixes and enhancements, the resources available are on a voluntarily basis. Unicon’s innovative Cooperative Support Program provides access to a dedicated Support Team of expert uPortal developers and administrators. The community benefits

The purpose of our Cooperative Support Program is to form a trusted partnership with your institution to ensure the long-term success of uPortal on your campus. We address two types of needs under our program: production support cases that need immediate technical assistance, and development issues that are queued and prioritized by the collective support subscribers. When our Support Team is not working directly on support cases, they spend their time working on development issues such as bug fixes, enhancements, and minor new features. Work completed on these development issues is contributed back to the Jasig community for the benefit of all uPortal users.

Support for multiple releases

Unicon’s Cooperative Support Program provides direct technical support for multiple releases of uPortal. This means that it is no longer necessary to constantly upgrade to the latest uPortal release in order to receive support.
