uMobile, a new project by Jasig, provides a framework for higher education institutions to integrate enterprise applications, content, and data – within a mobile environment. uMobile's enterprise framework enables institutions to present role-based, personalized content to its constituents. uMobile is 100% free and open source software managed by Jasig. Unicon is committed to ensuring uMobile’s long-term success and offers expertise, along with a wide range of services, to maximize an institution's investment in uMobile.

Mobile Access at the Institution

Unicon assists institutions with deployment and configuration to allow for mobile access via iPhone and Android devices. In addition, Uncion can provide an enhanced mobile theme and skin that mirrors the look and feel of the institution. The mobile view of the campus includes working portlets providing calendar, news, announcements, maps and more, directly to the constituents.
