KonaKart Now Available as JSR 168 Portlet

KonaKart is a Java eCommerce application. It is database-compatible with osCommerce (a popular PHP eCommerce application). As of version 2.2.2.0, KonaKart can now also be deployed as a JSR-168 portlet. So, for any portals that need an eCommerce solutions, this is a great place to start.

KonaKart is separated into two parts. There is an open source API (LGPL) where all customizations can be done. The engine itself is free (as in beer) but is closed source. The company business model is based on consulting and support for major deployments.
