Unicon Joins Jasig Commercial Affiliate Program as Charter Member
Commercial Affiliate Designation Provides Institutions with Assurance for uPortal Service and Support
Unicon, Inc., the leading independent provider of open source enterprise portals, applications, and professional services for the online campus in academic institutions, today announced that it has become a charter member of the Jasig Commercial Affiliate Program. As more academic institutions join the Jasig organization and uPortal community, it is increasingly important for them to easily identify commercial supporters of uPortal that have established an official relationship with the organization and a successful track record of service and support. Since the inception of the Jasig, Unicon has provided professional implementation, service, training, and support to over one hundred higher education institutions and contributed significantly to the sustainability of the organization.
