"Error "Type Set to I" when publishing"
What is error "Type Set to I" when publishing?
Error "Type Set to I" when publishing is a problem with the FTP server permissions even if logging in from other FTP clients works fine.
If publishing to Linux, you must change "Allow Foreign Hosts" setting to "YES" and grant ownership of the logging in account on the FTP Server.
Otherwise, the FTP server creates a virtual folder that creates this error.
You may have to change the target for it to work (Such as creating a top level
directory in the root directory.) This directory does not appear in
the reddot structure but does appear on the actual site. So make sure
you have your publication structure setup correctly.
For example, in the RedDot project structure you may have US and
German folders with the structure underneath them. In US, the virtual
path is \virtual\us and in German it is \virtual\german.
Please check to see if this is the case on your end and try to recognize if it's creating a virtual folder, and if so, what the name of the folder is. And then add this folder into your directory structure.
