Why is my IMAP connection terminated by Webmail?
IMAP servers only allow for one connection per account at a time. When you login to e-mail through the Academus Webmail channel, the IMAP server will, by default, terminate any other open IMAP connections. For example, if you're using Microsoft Outlook for your e-mail and you login to Academus' Webmail channel, any connection to the IMAP server that Outlook has open will be dropped.
Additionally, if your Academus portal is configured for single sign-on into Webmail, any open IMAP connections will be terminated when you login to the portal, as the IMAP connection will be established at this point.
