How do I change the default layouts for my users (i.e. user templates)?
If you opted for the Unicon deployment team to set up your Group/Tab/Channel default layout, the deployment lead will have communicated to you the names of your “Template Users”.
These users, set up in your LDAP**, provide the default layouts for each group set up at the time of deployment (standard: Admin, Faculty, Staff, Student, and Guest).
In order to change these default layouts, simply log on as each Template User and configure the site as desired.
If you did not opt for the Unicon team to set up your default layout, please contact customer service for additional assistance in making these changes.
**Note: this is only applicable for installations using an LDAP (MS Active Directory, LDAP, SunOne Directory, etc.) for authentication.
