Why am I experiencing difficulty uploading files to Academus from my Macintosh computer using an IE browser?
There is a known issue with Internet Explorer (IE) browsers and uploading files on a Mac. This IE issue impacts a number of the Academus channels where files can be uploaded including Briefcase, News, Classifieds, Curriculum, and Class Folders.
Academus 1.3 clients using Macs are encouraged to use Netscape 7.0.2, Netscape 7.1 or Mozilla 1.6 to resolve the issue and get the best performance from Academus.
Academus 1.5 clients using Macs are encouraged to use Netscape 7.1, Netscape 7.2, Mozilla 1.7, Firefox 1.0 or Safari 1.2.3 to resolve the issue and get the best performance from Academus.
Academus 2.0 clients using Macs are encouraged to use Netscape 7.2, Netscape 8.0, Mozilla 1.7.8, Firefox 1.0.6, Safari 1.2.3 or Safari 2.0 to resolve the issue and get the best performance from Academus.
