"How do I change the "look & feel" of the user interface?"

The look and feel of the portal is controlled by the skin. To select a new skin follow the steps defined below:

1) Click the Preferences link (Customize link for Academus 2.0 users) in the global navigation bar at the top of the portal

2) Click the Choose a skin link (Pick Colors link for Academus 2.0 users)

3) The next screen displays a list of available skins, including a name, description, and thumbnail representations for each skin.  The list of available skins will be limited to the set of skins approved and published by your institution.

4) Select a skin by clicking the radio button to the left of its thumbnail image. Then click the Apply or Change Skin  button (Save Settings button for Academus 2.0 users) at the bottom of the window.

5) The new skin will now be applied to all views of Academus.
