Unicon Adds Over Twenty New Open Source Projects for CAS, Sakai, uPortal, and Zimbra in Q3 2008

Phoenix, AZ - November 18, 2008— Unicon, Inc., the leading provider of open source software consulting services for the education market, today announced that it has completed over twenty new open source services projects in the third quarter of 2008 for numerous colleges, universities, and for U.S. corporations: Cisco, John Wiley & Sons, Inc., and Pearson Education. These institutions and corporations contracted with Unicon to provide a variety of services for the Central Authentication Service (CAS), Sakai, uPortal, and Zimbra applications. The services included deployment, accelerated development, application and system integration, administration training, consulting, and support through Unicon’s Cooperative Support Program.
